Applications Engineer

What You'll Do
You will take responsibility for ventilation and air handling projects from initial specification to final commissioning:
Interpret client specifications, tender documents, and technical requirements
Design and select appropriate ventilation, fan, and air handling systems
Prepare technical proposals, equipment schedules, and detailed costings
Engage with clients to clarify requirements and present technical solutions
Liaise with draughting, production, and installation teams to ensure practical, cost-effective designs
Provide commissioning support and technical troubleshooting when required
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Attend site visits and client meetings as needed
What You Bring
BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role
Experience in ventilation, HVAC, fan systems, or industrial air movement applications (advantageous)
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
