Our client is seeking an Airline Loyalty Data Engineer with expertise in airline loyalty systems and data workflows.
In this role, you will design and develop ETL pipelines to process loyalty transactions, integrate passenger datasets, and enable personalisation and targeted marketing use cases.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in airline loyalty systems and cloud-based tools who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


Responsibilities
Design and build ETL pipelines to handle loyalty transactions, including points accrual, redemptions, and tier upgrades.
Integrate and process passenger datasets to enable downstream use cases like customer segmentation and personalisation.
Optimise and manage our AI data models by monitoring customer usage and implementing insights.
Collaborate with machine learning engineers to re-train and optimise models based on business objectives.
Implement and maintain scalable databases and data transformation workflows for high-performance operations.
RequirementsEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience working with airline loyalty CRMs, ancillary systems, or PSS components.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in ETL processes, data cleansing, enrichment, and modelling.
Proficiency in Python, Node.js, SQL, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, and Docker.
Experience with cloud databases and tools such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, or similar platforms.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of airline technology, including loyalty workflows, NDC, GDS, and Offer & Order frameworks.
Familiarity with customer segmentation and personalisation use cases.
