A leading organisation is recruiting for a Senior Manager: AI Platform Architecture to drive the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade AI platforms that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
This role is suited to a highly technical leader with deep expertise in AI, cloud infrastructure, MLOps, and scalable platform architecture within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable AI platforms aligned to strategic business objectives Lead the integration of AI solutions into cloud and enterprise environments Drive AI platform optimisation, security, governance, and performance improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and data scientists Oversee AI deployment frameworks, API integrations, and MLOps practices Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standards Identify opportunities for innovation and emerging AI technology adoption Provide strategic technical guidance to senior stakeholders and leadership teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field 8+ years' experience in AI platform architecture, cloud environments, or enterprise AI deployment Strong expertise in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms Strong understanding of containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with MLOps, API integration, and large-scale data processing Knowledge of telecom, 5G, IoT, or real-time environments advantageous Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capabilities EE Disclaimer All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
