The Aesthetician and Practice Administrator for a Plastic Surgeon will have a dual role, combining aesthetician duties with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the plastic surgeon's practice. The Aesthetician will provide high-quality aesthetic treatments to patients, while also assisting with administrative responsibilities. The Aesthetician's main responsibilities will include performing various aesthetic procedures, such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, and other non-invasive treatments. They will assess patients' skin concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and educate patients on skincare routines to maintain optimal results. In addition to performing aesthetic treatments, the Aesthetician will support the Plastic Surgeon's practice by carrying out administrative tasks. These tasks may include scheduling appointments, managing patient records, assisting with billing and insurance matters, and coordinating with other team members to ensure the practice runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Performing aesthetic treatments and procedures, such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments. Assessing patients' skin concerns and developing personalized treatment plans. Educating patients on skincare routines and recommending appropriate products. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensuring confidentiality. Handling administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating with other team members. Assisting with billing and insurance matters, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments. Ensuring a clean and hygienic treatment environment by following infection control protocols and sterilization procedures. Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with patients. Collaborating with the Plastic Surgeon and other team members to deliver comprehensive patient care. Staying current on the latest trends and advancements in aesthetic treatments. Requirements Valid certification/license as an Aesthetician. Proven experience in performing aesthetic treatments and procedures. Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatments, and techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively. Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems. Experience with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict privacy regulations. Strong customer service skills and a patient-centered approach. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Some Saturday's and Public Holidays will be required as it is also a retail space. A qualification as a Beauty Therapist will be advantageous. Previous experience in skincare and retail will be advantageous.
