Job Purpose: Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for two (2) suitably and competent individuals to supervise and render system administration and support services to the Department.
Minimum Requirements: An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Management, Accounting, Information Systems or Business Management.A minimum of 3 years experience in Financial systems.Key Performance Areas: Assist departments with enquiries pertaining to financial systems.Assist with investigation of discrepancies in data sets and enable a clean and up-to-date data set.Maintenance and re-verification of reporting categories for financial systems.Perform financial system support functions.Provide training to financial system users.Supervise human resource staff.Knowledge: Financial systems; Administration; Strategic planning and organising skills; Communication skills (written and verbal); Proven computer literacy.
Remuneration: R 308 154 - R 362 994 per annum (Salary level 7)
Note on remuneration: In addition, service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc.)
are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes: Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
These candidates will be required to do a practical and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests.
