Job Purpose: The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render human resource and general administration of the component.
Minimum Requirements: An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification).A minimum of 2 years experience in Human resource and general administration.Recommendation: Working knowledge of PERSAL or similar system.
Key Performance Areas: Management and administration of HR and general administration.People management.Monitor Human Resource matters.Monitor general administrative and other support services.Manage health and safety matters.Knowledge and Skills Needed: Financial Management and Supply Chain management Services and registry duties.Human Resource Management including Recruitment and selection process.Budget management.Filing of HR documents.Proven computer literacy (MS Office).Written and verbal communication.Human Resource Planning, Finance, and Audit.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to deal with sensitive matters.Remuneration: R 308 154- R 362 994 per annum (Salary Level 7).
Note on remuneration: In addition, service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc.)
are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
