This advertiser has chosen not to accept applicants from your region.Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing pricing strategies for existing and new lines of business.Analyze portfolio performance and provide recommendations to guide pricing decisions.Collaborate with internal teams such as Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Sales to optimize pricing strategies.Support senior management with actuarial analysis, insights, and business recommendations.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in pricing models.Monitor profitability, renewals, and pricing targets, making adjustments as needed.Participate in Mergers & Acquisitions analyses and special projects.Support pricing initiatives and contribute to data analytics efforts within the organization.Qualifications & Experience:At least 5 years of experience in short-term insurance pricing, including modelling and deployment.Strong background in providing actuarial advice and support to senior management.Experience in underwriting, portfolio management, and working within cross-functional teams.Previous exposure to large IT development projects and project management.A University Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field (NQF Level 7).FASSA or an international equivalent qualification is preferred.Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence decisions through data insights.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities under pressure.Knowledge of statistical and actuarial pricing tools and methods.Proficient in computer literacy (SAS, VBA, Pricing software, etc.).Understanding of portfolio management, optimization methods, and underwriting strategies.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Please send your CV to ******.
