Actuarial Analyst / Nearly Qualified Actuary Group Risk (Valuations & Reporting) What Were Looking For: BSc Actuarial Science or related qualification 7 actuarial exams completed, progressing well towards the qualification 35 years of experience in actuarial valuations, reserving, or reporting Advanced Excel skills is a must SQL or other programming/data tools is a strong advantage Key Responsibilities: Deliver quarterly valuation results with in-depth data analysis Perform and analyse liability and embedded value calculations Support experience investigations and sensitivity testing Provide actionable insights to guide business strategy Lead product valuation for allocated products Improve and streamline valuation processes Ensure compliance with internal actuarial standards and timelines Ideal Candidate Traits: Analytical thinker with strong data interpretation skills Effective communicator who can translate complex outputs Solutions-driven and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset Comfortable managing tasks independently and collaborating across teams
