MSA Outsourcing Solutions is on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will support the accounting department by managing various financial tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to accurate financial reporting.Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and processing of financial transactions like invoices and payments into accounting software and spreadsheetsMaintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgersPreparation of monthly credit card reconciliationsConduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial recordsSupport the preparation of monthly financial statements and reportsAssistance with preparation of VAT / Goods and Services Tax returnsReport on the status of accounts payable and receivableAssist in monitoring expenditures and preparing budgetsCollaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processesEfficiently managing the company Finance mailbox, promptly addressing incoming communications, and managing correspondences with internal and external stakeholdersRequirementsProven experience as an account assistant or in a similar accounting roleExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)Strong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience of working for a Property Management company is advantageousGood communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTime management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
