Job Description
Accounting Manager (Assistant Manager) for Accounting and Admin Divisions
R45,000.00 p.m. Basic Salary, Plus Medical Aid, Provident/Pension Funds, Annual
Bonus
Company based in Fourways, Gauteng
Prestigious large International Blue Chip Group based in Fourways.
Requirements:
B.Com (Accounting Sciences) or Equivalent Degree,
Extensive Management skills and experience,
Liaison with top management, locally and abroad,
Preferably with Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles,
Approximately 10 years plus verifiable accounting and reporting experience,
Grounded experience of budgeting and forecasting techniques,
Solid knowledge of Corporate Taxation, VAT, PAYE & Workmen’s Compensation,
Expat Tax calculations will be an advantage,
Advanced Excel skills,
Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.
Main key performance areas:
Maintain internal controls,
Reporting function to head office abroad,
Ensure validity and accuracy of all accounting entries,
Review daily journal entries,
Strong Leadership/Management and Supervisory experience,
VAT, Corporate Income Tax & PAYE calculations and reconciliations,
Solid understanding of Transfer Pricing,
Monitor cash flow and validity of all payments,
Monthly reports and Budgeting function,
Must be able to travel to the group’s various branches based in Africa.
