Accountant An innovative company in the medical technology sector is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team.
This role is responsible for managing the full accounting function up to trial balance, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Manage financial transactions and reconciliations, as well as reporting up to trial balance.
Reconcile and maintain bank transactions, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
Oversee month-end procedures, including VAT reporting and payroll processing.
Handle debtors and creditors management, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliations.
Assist with inventory management, financial reporting, and audits.
Maintain statutory compliance and update company records with regulatory authorities.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and quality management system (QMS) guidelines.
Requirements: B.Com Accounting Degree or related financial qualification (Honours is advantageous).
1 year post-articles experience OR 3 years of experience without articles.
Solid knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Pastel/Xero).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting principles.
Understanding of regulatory compliance, audit processes, and inventory management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid role 2 days work-from-home (after passing probation)
