Accountant

The Person:B.Com (Accounting) essential.Min 5 years Accounting experience.Excellent understanding of ERP Accounting system.Experience in logistics / warehousing / property beneficial.Good understanding of VAT Laws.Experience with SARS e-Filing.The Job:Prepare management accounts.Various data extraction, analysis, manipulation and reporting.Monitor internal controls, procedures and systems.Reconcile all control accounts and sub-ledgers.VAT reconciliation, return and audits.Maintain non-current asset and liability registers and reconciliations.Import data from operating and payroll systems.Monthly journals, accruals and revaluations.Prompt and accurate response to queries from Management, Auditors and Regulators.Competences:Excellent analytical skills.Good understanding of data structures, integration and integrity.Excellent Excel and reporting skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to focus and prioritise own workload.Experience working as part of a large team and organisation.Communicate clearly with Regional Managers and resolve queries.
