Responsibilities: Accurate and timeous financial reporting to the GroupVerify accounting procedures comply with accounting policies and International Accounting standardsPrepare supporting documents for tax returns VAT, PAYE, Income tax, SARB and STATS SA for all companiesManage the treasury group requirements and reportingPrepare exchange control applications needed for foreign paymentsPrepare weekly and monthly cashflowMaintain fixed assets registerEnsure reconciliations done on all general ledger balance sheet accountsImplement and maintain strict adherence to Group internal controls policyLiaise with internal and external auditors, ensure all group audit issues are addressed and internal controls monitoredAssist with external audit requirements and prepare audit samplesPrepare journals for revaluation and reclassification of local and foreign debtors and creditors across all companiesCheck payment batches for local and foreign creditorsAssist with month-end tasks and internal and external submissionsAd hoc tasks as and when requiredRequirements:Financial qualification with ArticlesGood communication and people skillsGood analytical and problem solving skillsHigh level of self-motivation and able to work independentlyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
