!A Small and Established Shipping Firm based at Head Office in Rivonia seeks your proven working experience with attention to detail, which is a CRITICAL factor, and the ability to work independently as an Accountant - Bookkeeper to Trial Balance.Position is available to start IMMEDIATELY and will wait on a short notice period.Looking for a personality that fits into a small environment and can think out of the box.Key Responsibilities:Strong knowledge of PastelExcellent English written and spoken; advantageous if able to converse in AfrikaansExperience with inter-company loansHandle capturing of debtors and creditors for multiple entitiesIssue and distribute monthly debtors statementsReconciliation of contractors' accountsReconciliation of cash salesReconciliation of bank accountsVAT Returns and liaising with SARS queriesPayroll - full day (capturing payroll, printing, scanning, emailing, then running various reports) + PAYE submission to SARS.Maintain filingGeneral administration functions as requiredReporting to the Director.Requirements:Added advantage if holding an accounting diploma or similar qualificationAttention to detail is criticalMicrosoft Office knowledge required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Neat and well-groomed appearancePleasant and professional manner, both face-to-face and telephonicallyAdvantageous if able to communicate verbally in Afrikaans (customers)Full disclosure of current credit and criminal record statusWorking hours ideally 9 am - 2 pm or 8 am - 1 pm
