We're on the lookout for a detail-driven and experienced Accountant to join our client's dynamic finance team on a fixed-term contract.
If you're passionate about financial reporting, tax compliance, and implementing solid accounting controls, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities using Caseware and DraftworxSubmit IT14 tax returns via e-filing and manage provisional tax returnsReconcile and submit VAT and Withholding Tax returns for South African and international entitiesAssist in the compilation of annual budgets and forecastsConduct monthly bank reconciliations and general journal processingPrepare and consolidate monthly management accountsManage trial balances, general ledger, and sub-ledger reconciliationsHandle month-end and year-end closuresLiaise with internal and external auditorsReview and authorize payments via FNB OnlineDrive the development and implementation of internal accounting policies and controlsRequirements:BCom Honours or Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BCom)Completion of SAICA / SAIPA articles (advantageous)Experience in Caseware and Draftworx is essentialStrong knowledge of group reporting, tax regulations, and e-filingHigh attention to detail and excellent analytical and reconciliation skillsAbility to manage multiple entities and meet tight deadlinesReady to take the next step in your accounting career?We're excited to connect with professionals who are ready to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact!
