Job PurposeThe purpose of this role is to ensure that all the service, performance (SLA), and costing data (volume & value trends) are analyzed and collated for the customer; and have insight into customer requirements and identify opportunities to create joint efficiencies to manage customer profitability.

Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship ManagementInteract with relevant customer (Principal) departments to resolve and manage day-to-day operational queries.Manage interactions between customers and Vector at the appropriate level with key Vector departments including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Administration (especially Commercial).Key Account Data Analysis and Performance Reporting ManagementManage and report on service levels including analyzing and addressing issues with recommended actions or solutions.Manage overstocking and compile necessary reports.Build understanding of sales and rate trends by category/product and by customer type.Monitor and collate sales performance by customer.Manage product and category take-ons and exits; work with VSS; obtain formal signoff.Ensure frequent interaction with VSS and Supply Chain to share information and maintain cross-functional understanding regarding customer expectations.Obtain data and analyze SKU performance trends from Supply Chain.Monitor new products with planning to prevent stockouts.Manage and monitor risky expiry stocks with planning.Analyze slow-moving SKUs and act in conjunction with Planning and Principal.Manage customer and channel take-ons and exits, and analyze customer trends.Coordinate business review meetings with sales analysis and service level insights.Conduct regular competitive market research.Contribute to Principal/Vector projects at the tactical level.Customer Insight and Profitability ManagementIdentify efficiency opportunities and joint projects to enhance profitability.Communicate principal requests to relevant Vector stakeholders.Research and analyze data for proposed projects, collaborating with the Commercial Department for viability assessments.ReportingPrepare review packs for the Customer Manager with monthly insights.Generate reports for Principals and handle ad hoc requests with appropriate analysis.Report on compliance with SLAs for both Vector and Principals.Report non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders.Project ManagementLead, coordinate, and monitor key project deliverables.Demonstrate strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.Maintain excellent communication and stakeholder management.Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Team Coordination and Self-ManagementTake ownership of tasks, plan effectively, and prioritize.Ensure quality and productivity standards are met.Inform relevant parties of risks or delays and resolve issues.Support business values and manage expectations.Show willingness to help others and contribute to team goals.Champion training and development activities.Participate in performance appraisals and set clear targets.Maintain awareness of employee relations and ensure compliance with policies.
