Account Manager: Practical Guidance Purpose of the Role: This role will focus on constantly strengthening and growing LexisNexis’position in the practical guidance market through identifying, developing, defining and negotiating key businessrelationships. Key Accountabilities: Business DevelopmentResearch and identify core content needs of the marketDevelop relationships with various regulatory bodiesin an effort to secure bulk deals.Develop and maintain relationships with key contactsin the marketLocate and/or propose potential business deals bycontacting potential partners; discovering and pursuing opportunitiesAssist sales in closing new business deals andresponding to tenders by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiatecontracts; calculating sales prices in accordance with company rules forprofitability.Research and remain abreast of competitor productdevelopmentsIdentify content acquisition opportunitiesDevelop marketing campaigns to increase awareness ofthe product/services in the marketSupport FunctionsTrainingof sales and other customer-facing roles to present LNSA value proposition andproduct USP’s (unique selling proposition) LexisNexis,
