Main Job Purpose:To drive business growth by managing and expanding relationships with clients in both the government and private sectors.
The Account Manager will focus on promoting all the company services, including Data Protection (Backup), Servers, Storage, HCI, Cloud, Backup, and Microsoft Services, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and new business acquisition.
The role encompasses both new business development (hunting) and existing account management (farming). Minimum Desired Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.Certification in sales or account management (e.g., Sales Management, Key Account Management) Minimum Desired Experience8 - 10 years IT Technical Sales experience, with emphasis on ICT Client Services (End user devices, Boardroom equipment, end user resources etc)6 8 Extensive Account Management and Sales Experience in the Public Sector within the ICT industryBusiness development experienceProven track record of success in managing government and private sector accounts.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and services, including Data Protection, Servers, Storage, HCI, Cloud, and Microsoft solutions. Market and Sector FocusDevelop a deep understanding of the government and private sector landscapes.Stay informed about industry trends, government procurement processes, and private sector opportunities.Tailor sales strategies to align with the unique requirements of each sector. Reporting and AnalyticsTrack and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and account growth metrics.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems.Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on account activities and market insights. Collaboration and TeamworkWork closely with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales and delivery objectives.Support marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and demand generation.
