An exciting opportunity has arisen for a3rdEngineerresponsible for the safety, navigation, cleanliness and operation of a trawler and the total complement on board and who directs fishing operations of the vessel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE:
2 Years experience sailing as a 3rdEngineer on Fishing Vessels

QUALIFICATIONS:
Motorman Grade 2 or Officer in charge of Engineering Watch 750kw

COURSES COMPLETED:
Annual Medical
Advance Fire Fighting
PSSR
CISC
Marine Fire Fighting
Marine First Aid

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Watch Keeping Duties
Assist Chief Engineer and 2ndEngineer in charge of safe running, maintenance and repair of all machinery on the vessel.
Assistance in Maintenance& servicing of machinery includes:
Main engine
Auxiliary engine
Deck hydraulic winches
Factory hydraulics
Freon domestic and Refer plant
Piano Heading Machine
Assist with general housekeeping of all engine compartments.
Minor electrical repairs and maintenance
Assist with admin work e.g. log sheets, running hours, work lists.
Assist in Supervising of Greasers (x2)
