Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Certificate Administrator to oversee trade certification applications, issue serial numbers, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
The role involves acting as a liaison between training institutions and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth certification processes within the QCTO framework.Key Responsibilities:AdministrativeEnsure all records, including applications, serial numbers, and certificates, are properly archived for future reference or audits.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful certification execution.Maintain an organized filing system for trade test reports and certificates.Verify and submit trade test certificates to NAMB.Support quarterly reporting of Apprenticeship and ARPL/RPL targets.Trade Test ProcessEnsure supporting documents accompany serial number applications.Verify that training or assessment centers are accredited by the QCTO for issuing qualifications or certificates.Approve applications for serial number issuance after compliance checks.Generate and issue serial numbers to trade test centers.Prepare trade certification application forms, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Submit applications to NAMB and track their progress, following up on additional information requests.Notify trade test centers or candidates of certification awards and send official certificates.CommunicationsImplement activities aligned with communication strategies.Maintain effective communication with candidates, training providers, and regulatory bodies.Assist with stakeholder walk-ins at the head office when required.Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years SETA experience in quality assurance and certification roles.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to resolve issues during certification and submission processes.Knowledge:Understanding of QCTO, SAQA, and NAMB standards and requirements.Experience managing large volumes of paperwork and maintaining efficient filing systems.Skills:Fluency in English (oral and written).Professional writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Attributes:High attention to detail.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.High integrity and professionalism.Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable with a willingness to learn.Emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure.Well-presented at all times.Location: Parktown, JohannesburgTravel Requirements: Domestic travel as needed, including potential weekends.Driver's License: Code 8 mandatoryKey Skills:Test Cases, SQL, Quality Assurance, Agile, TFS, Jira, Software Testing, Test Automation, Cucumber, QA / QC, SDLC, Selenium
