SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT CBD, Cape TownR300k to R420k Per Annum Negotiable on Qualification and years of relevant experienceReputable Investment firm within the Renewables | Project Finance arena is currently expanding their dynamic Finance team!You have a strong desire to pursue or further develop your career within the investment / renewable energy / project finance arena. This role is ideal for someone who is striving to become and CA(SA) and would want to become the Project Manager for project companies. One would describe you as a highly organised, detail orientated and innovative teamplayer who possesses strong information gathering and problem analysis skills as well as good writing and reporting skills. Key duties and responsibilities: Liaison with all projects specific engineersReporting to the Project ManagerLiaison with and resolving any issues with SARSLiaison with financial advisors and building budgets that integrates with Financial modelsGeneral administration of projectsReviewing the basic monthly bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll for projectsPerforming the complex monthly bookkeeping, management accounts and payroll for projects (General and advanced journals)Assisting with budget preparations for projects and upkeepingConducting expenditure and variance analyses on projectsAssisting with Group consolidationWith respect to the Group and individual project companies:Group company loan reconciliationsPreparation and presentation of monthly management accountsWriting up of more complex accounting records of clientsExamine, analyse, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements (IFRSand IFRS for SME's)Preparation of tax returns (VAT, Company Tax etc.) Qualifications and Experience: Batchelors or higher degree in Accounting or FinanceCompleted SAICA/SAIPA Articles is advantageous / AGA(SA) registered1-2 Years relevant financial accounting experience is essentialHands-on experience with accounting software like Sage, Xero, Draftworks and Microsoft Great PlainesSARS communication/correspondence skills To apply, please forward an updated and detailed CV to Nicole Spamers:
